It is not often that we get to capture a wedding in Savannah for someone we have actually had the time to get to know before the proposal. This Red Gate Farms wedding was so special for us for so many ways, and we were so honored to capture it.
We met Andrew about a year ago in community group. He was one of the nicest people, and we always remember him asking us to pray for a group he was serving in the church called CBC Neighbors. He talked about the kids that surrounded the church and the group that they had formed to teach the kids about God, but also provide a safe place for them to hang out after school.
We later found out that CBC would provide something even more meaningful for Andrew than just a church he was able to serve at while being stationed here, but it would also be the place that he met his future wife, Haley. He had a little help with getting to know Haley, but after being put together to serve alongside each other they began dating.
Andrew is also in the Army, and later this past year he found out his time in Savannah was coming to a close, at least for now. He was finally ready to propose, and wanted to do it right before he left for his next stop. We got the honor of also helping him plan his proposal out at The Garden Chapel at CBC right where he first met Haley.
Being a part of their proposal to capturing their wedding day was such an amazing thing to witness. Their wedding was such a beautiful display of God’s love bringing two people together as one.
We can’t wait to share the details of their beautiful day, and show you some of the amazing moments of the day, including DJ Kyle challenging Andrew to singing out ‘Let It Go’, because that doesn’t happen at every wedding!
